REALTORS® are real estate professionals who have chosen to join the National Association and abide by its strict Code of Ethics, voluntarily agreeing to abide by a Code of Ethics, based on professionalism and protection of the public.

Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that can cause lung cancer. It can enter homes from the ground and build up to dangerous levels. Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the U.S., responsible for about 20,000 lung cancer deaths every year.

This course addressed the key radon issues that impact home sale transactions, including testing, mitigation, risk communication and how to effectively resolve questions and challenges that arise regarding this unique environmental health risk.
